Néstor Grindetti, who has been an advisor to the Government of the City of Buenos Aires for a year, has announced his resignation from the position. In a message on social media, Grindetti mentioned that his decision is due to personal reasons and expressed that he will focus his political activity in the province of Buenos Aires from now on.

The former mayor of Lanús and current president of the Independiente club in Avellaneda has decided to step aside at a time when legislative elections are approaching this year. Grindetti expressed his desire for the rest of the administration in the City to be successful for all Buenos Aires residents and thanked the opportunity to have collaborated in the transformations to improve the quality of life for residents.

Grindetti, known for his closeness to Patricia Bullrich in the 2023 campaign, is a prominent figure in the PRO who has been mentioned as a supporter of a possible alliance with La Libertad Avanza. He thanked Jorge Macri for calling him over a year ago to occupy the Chief of Cabinet position and acknowledged the trust of the mayor at the beginning of his term.

In his farewell message, Grindetti highlighted his intention to continue working in the province of Buenos Aires to offer an alternative for change that meets the needs of its inhabitants.
